I already have a claims recovery process in place. Why should I deal with Health Decisions, Inc.?
Health Decisions, Inc. complements and co-exists with all existing recovery procedures. The breadth and depth of our review finds additional recoveries. Our powerful software tools can be made available for direct use, enhancing existing expertise and simplifying management oversight.
I don’t want to make changes in my claims recovery department. Why should I risk rocking the boat?
Health Decisions requires no change in existing business practices. The client’s current contracts, current procedures and current systems can all remain unchanged. Health Decisions operates seamlessly with existing procedures and does not interfere in any way with a company or payor’s operation. Our flexible business arrangements provide monthly feedback and clear remittance reporting, Health Decisions’ clients determine the level of involvement that is right for them.
Will current claims recovery employees feel threatened?
At first, they might. But Health Decisions will meet with existing staff before getting started to address any concerns that might exist. As work progresses and staff becomes familiar with our tools and techniques the very people who feel threatened become our biggest supporters.
Will I have to invest in any expensive software or hardware?
No. Health Decisions has an array of servers and large capacity storage drives on our premises that are shared with clients to meet their needs. If clients wish to have their data isolated they may provide a server that Health Decisions will use at our location or at a client location.
Will the data you supply me with be compatible with my software?
Yes. Health Decisions’ data is integrated with external files. We have the capability of providing all our data and reports in a format that is instantly accessible by our clients. Our technical staff will assure communications interface, transmission protocols, systems compatibility, and access security.
Will you be duplicating the efforts of my claims processors?
Absolutely not! Health Decisions will not look for savings in any area your claims employees already have investigated. We begin looking where your claims department ends its search. All cost savings we identify will be in addition to what your employees already have discovered.
My staff has been struggling to satisfy HIPPA requirements. Can you help with this challenge?
All the work Health Decisions does is HIPPA compliant, In addition, our process can put in place a HIPPA Privacy Monitor that assures personal consents, data aggregation, record de-identification, external requests processing, and compliance to confidentiality policies.
