Union Trusts enrollment errors found and corrected

Problem: One of Michigan’s largest Union Trusts retained Health Decisions to perform its standard claims recovery review but with a special emphasis on confirming that membership information was being communicated correctly to the payor.

Action: Using its unique enrollment verification review, Health Decisions identified and corrected the areas where incorrect union membership enrollment information was being passed on to the payor, resulting in unwarranted charges being made to the Union Trust.

Result: Health Decisions identified and corrected the problem, producing a positive return on investment in recoveries that led to the Union Trust re-authorizing our services for the following year.
